NPK compound fertilizer refers to a type of compound fertilizer containing three primary plant nutrients: nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K), also known as ternary compound fertilizer. Below is a detailed introduction:
Nutrient marking: The contents of N, P and K in NPK compound fertilizer are usually indicated by percentage. For example, a 15-15-15 compound fertilizer means the contents of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium account for 15% of the total fertilizer weight respectively.
Nutrient functions: Nitrogen promotes leaf growth and chlorophyll synthesis of plants, enhances photosynthesis and facilitates rapid plant growth. Phosphorus boosts root development, flowering and fruiting, strengthens plants' disease resistance and aids energy metabolism.
